Trekking Alpe Adria – From St. Johann to Lignano on the Adriatic Sea

A classic among the Transalp routes. The tour follows in large parts the well-known Alpe Adria cycle path. However, we often leave the signposted paths to discover some gems along the way. Thus, we roll through the back door to Bad Gastein, dare a boat trip on Lake Millstatt, head for other Carinthian lakes and speed along the sensational railroad cycle path to Bella Italia. In Friuli, we explore the cultural city of San Daniele, roll past Venetian villas to the white sandy beach of Lignano.
